I am from Mohawk’s third graduating class. After over 32 years at CAMCO (Hotpoint Appliances), I retired with 11 years as a Quality Control Inspector. For over 11 years, I have also been involved as a volunteer driver for the Canadian Blood Services’ Life Bus program, ensuring donors get to the clinic and return to their origin.
I moved from Canada, after graduation in 1979, to Europe and have lived in Sweden for more than 30 years. I retired from a senior management position with one of the world’s largest and leading German tech companies. Upon my return to Hamilton in 2019, I have started two start-ups.

After I graduated from Mohawk, I moved on to obtain training in an awesome firm located in Burlington. From there, I branched out on my own where I could raise my family. I was in my own business for over 25 years. When my family was all grown, I took a position as an accountant within the entertainment industry. I was there for seven years before deciding to venture off with my husband on our own adventure. Mohawk was a great stepping stone and taught me all I needed to know who I needed to be. I met a lot of awesome people. I am also proud to say that my daughter is in her final semester of rec therapy at Mohawk.
